Consumers Energy 2025 All Source RFP

Consumers Energy Company (“Consumers Energy” or the “Company”) will seek competitive bids in response to a Request for Proposals (“RFP”)  from participants in the Pennsylvania-New Jersey-Maryland Interconnection (“PJM”) Energy Market; Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. (“MISO”) Energy Market,   Zones 1-7; or interconnecting to Consumers Energy’s electric distribution system in accordance with the Company’s expansion of the Voluntary Green Pricing (“VGP”) program and to support the Company’s future supply needs.  Enel X Advisory Services North America, Inc. (“Enel X”) will administer the solicitation through its solicitation website on Consumers Energy's behalf in accordance with this forthcoming RFP (“Solicitation Website”).  With this RFP, Consumers Energy will solicit proposals from all sources, including clean generation (including storage, nuclear and natural gas with CCUS) to support VGP and future clean energy supply needs, as well as traditional generation resources to bridge shorter term supply needs.  Projects and requirements will be described more fully in the RFP which is accessible through the below link:

The company has also now set a date and time for it’s virtual Pre-RFP Stakeholder Meeting on April 10, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am EST.  In advance of the Pre-RFP Stakeholder Meeting, questions, comments and other feedback or recommendations pertaining to this RFP or the proposal submittal process can be sent via email to Enel X by way of consumersallsourcerfp@enel.com.

Consumers Energy 2024 Company's Solar RFP

Consumers Energy Company (“Consumers Energy” or the “Company”) will seek competitive bids in response to a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) from participants in the MISO Energy Market in accordance with the Company’s Proposed Course of Action in its Integrated Resource Plan.  Enel X Advisory Services North America, Inc., (“Enel X”) will administer the solicitation process through its solicitation website (“Solicitation Website”) on Consumers Energy's behalf in accordance with this forthcoming RFP.  With this RFP, Consumers Energy will seek proposals for solar generation projects.  Projects will be described more fully in the RFP on the Solicitation Website.

Responses to RFPs will only be accepted through Enel X’s Solicitation Website.
