In addition to providing grants to nonprofit organizations through the Consumers Energy Foundation, we also support nonprofit groups and communities. We mobilize employee volunteers and sponsor regional community events including the CRIM Festival of Races, the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, AuSable River Canoe Marathon, the Saginaw Light Up the City crime prevention program, the ArtPrize SmartArt competition in Grand Rapids and the Michigan Centennial Farm Program. Since 2010, we have provided more than $56 million to Michigan nonprofits to help customers in need pay their energy bills.
If you are facing hardship with energy bills or other needs,
please call 2-1-1 to be connected to resources in your community.
