Advantages of Upgrading Your Pool Pump

New ENERGY STAR® variable speed pool pumps are certified to save energy and money. Here’s how:
  • They use up to 18% less energy than conventional pool pumps*
  • They can save you up to $290 on your energy bills over the lifetime of the product*
  • They run quieter and extend the life of your pool’s filtering system*
Conventional pool pumps waste energy. They waste electricity by using the same pump speed whether they are filtering the water, vacuuming the pool or performing another task. ENERGY STAR certified variable speed pool pumps run at lower speeds during filtration, the task pool pumps perform most often. Because filtration requires only half the flow rate of pool vacuuming, these variable speed pumps can provide significant savings over time.
