Our Storm Restoration Team is closely watching high winds in targeted areas around the state. This weather could result in power outages, downed wires and other safety hazards.

We are fully mobilized, making preparations to quickly respond to any power outages.

High Winds May Lead to Power Outages


High winds can damage trees and utility poles, bring down power lines, and cause outages and unsafe conditions. Visit our Outage Center for safety information, or to report an outage. Sign up for outage alerts in the Preference Center.

Staying Safe in a Windstorm


Downed Wires Can Be Deadly

If you see a downed wire, please stay at least 25 feet away from it, and anything it is touching. Once you’re safe, call 9-1-1. Then call us at 800-477-5050.

Stock Your Pantry

Keep non-perishable food items, a manual can opener and plenty of bottled water on hand.

Have Your Flashlights Ready and Available

Make sure to keep flashlights in a known place where you can find them.
