Green Energy Program Options

Help us keep Michigan pure for generations to come.

Support green energy without a large increase to your bill.

Our Green Options are Right for You If:

You want to help us protect Michigan's environment.

You have or are planning to install solar panels to generate energy.

You want to support solar energy, even if you don't have your own solar panels.

Solar Gardens:

Interested in powering your business with renewable solar energy, but don't have your own solar panels? Add the Solar Gardens program to your current plan to subscribe to Solar Blocks and offset your carbon footprint.

Net Metering:

If you’re already generating your own electricity through solar energy, wind power or biomass, our Net Metering program allows you to contribute any extra energy you produce, but don’t use, into the grid. You’ll receive energy credits as a result, which you can apply toward your bill.
