Grand Valley State University

This 17-acre site located on GVSU’s Allendale Campus was completed in the spring of 2016. Containing 11,200 solar panels, it’s one of the largest community solar projects in Michigan, generating up to 3 mega-watts of electricity.

  • Construction of the 1MW solar power plant at Western Michigan University.
  • It takes a team of skilled and experienced people to deliver innovative solar energy solutions.
  • Working to bring our second Solar Gardens power plant to Michigan.

Western Michigan University

Completed in the summer of 2016, this solar garden contains approximately 3,900 solar panels over 8.5 acres of land on WMU’s Kalamazoo campus at the Business, Technology and Research Park. It generates up to 1 mega-watt of electricity.
